… and trumpet fanfare.

The Golden Retriever is here!!! And he's a beauty! Look at that face!

Come to any of these fine VKC Dog Park to pet and get to know the Golden!

Be sure to pick up your free shirt and a box of free VKC Toys. Several of SL's best toy makers have contributed toys that work with the latest dogs and they are our thanks to you. Drop by the Information Kiosk in any VKC Dog Park to get yours. You also can pick up the free Golden Retriever shirts for Men and for Women at our VKC Marketplace store.

Golden Retriever Features

  • New Petting Animation — Solcar Amat, our in-house animator, excelled himself yet again!
  • Motions system — The motions system, like in the Siberian Huskies, makes the Golden Retriever look more natural and alive. Say, "dogs motions on" to activate the system and say, "dogs motions off" to deactivate it.
  • Toy System 2 The new VKC Toy System 2 allows the dogs to actually carry the toys in their mouths. No more toys following well behind the dogs! Plus, the system is backwards compatible with most old toys.
  • Lower to the Ground — Like the Huskies, the Golden Retriever is much closer to the ground and causes less collisions.
  • Extra Poses — The Golden Retrievers have all the same great basic poses that all the VKC Dogs have, but they have a few extra poses you can use in tricks.
    • sit2, sit3, sit4, and sit5
    • stand2, stand3, stand4, and stand5
    • down2, down3, down4, down5, down6, down7, and down8
    • drop
    • bellyup2 and bellyup3
    • touch1 and touch2
    • shake2 and shake3
    • beg2 and beg3
    • rise
    • leap
    • land
    • lean
    • play and play2
    • tummy

Remember, the Golden Retriever is NOT Transferable. If you are buying one for someone else, please send him as a gift from our listings on Marketplace.

"Plz tell Enrico that he is doing a fantastic job with the dogs...I really love the interaction and annimation...The dogs move their legs and wag their tails just like the real thing.
